It is with great joy that we join Pope Benedict XVI in opening the Year of Faith. The year will last from October 11, 2012, and close on November 24, 2013. The year opens on the 20th Anniversary of the release of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which was authorized by Blessed Pope John Paul II. It will end on the Feast of Christ the King in 2013.
May this be a time to deepen our faith in Christ and his Church. May we also grow in the knowledge of the teachings of the Church through reading and studying the Catechism.
May God bless you all through Jesus Christ with an abundance of his love and grace.
