Pope Benedict XVI has named Bishop Kevin W. Vann as the fourth Bishop of the Diocese of Orange in California. Bishop Vann is in California today for a press conference at 11 am, California time (1 pm Fort Worth time). More information will be available on the web sites of both Dioceses simultaneously with the press conference.
Bishop Vann will remain in California until mid-week. The entire Diocese of Fort Worth joins the Catholics of the Diocese of Orange in thanking God for Bishop Vann’s 7 years as our Shepherd and prays for his future ministry in Orange.
